Coming from a background in organisational psychology and business studies, Svend has been working in the intersection between leadership development and learning game design for the past 23 years. During those years, Svend has been the lead designer on a number of corporate learning academies and leadership simulations such as Wall breakers, a cornerstone change management simulation. The job roles vary from facilitating leadership programs to running train-the-trainer programs to designing bespoke game-based solutions. The clients are, among others, Continental Tires, PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein), Mercedes-Benz Mobility, KLM, Novo Nordisk, IMD Business school, Credit Suisse and many others. In 2008, Svend was one of the co-founders of Workz, a Copenhagen based change consultancy focusing on creative training and development solutions for change management, strategy execution, corporate communication, specialist training among others, using games as the beating heart of many solutions.
