Mr. Tarakji joined Al Babtain Group, a family business conglomerate, early 2015. He currently leads the development of group C&B strategy, robust pay framework and incentive programs and responsible for Talent Management and Organization Development across the group.
With more than 13 years in the industry, he was a vital member of HR, TM, OD and C&B functions across several Kuwaiti organizations in different sectors including the Banking – e.g; National Bank of Kuwait, Retail, Automotive and Construction.
Mr. Tarakji holds an MBA – Strategic Management and Planning form Maastricht School of Management, and his Thesis was focused on Talent Management. He also holds a BA in Business Administration from Yarmouk University – Jordan, in addition to several HR-specific certificates including: SHRM-Senior Certified Professional Certification, Certified Human Resources Manager.

The content of this session is to lay out key elements of strategy and implementation tactics for restructuring a company’s Human Resources Department in order to enhance its effectiveness and efficiency through applying a short and long term strategies to transfer the Human Resources Department successfully from cost to profit centre. Participants will learn how to identify strategy, structure, process and system related issues from a holistic view, as well as to develop initiatives that will address HR transformation.
