Julie joined Bupa in 2011 initially as Director of Learning and Development, moving on to lead the whole HR agenda for Bupa's Care Home business including a period of significant divestment. Julie then held the People Director post for the Bupa Dental Care business, consisting of 480 practices acquired by Bupa just over 4 years ago before moving for the last 2 years to specialise in Wellbeing, Inclusion, Health & Safety with a global remit for Bupa’s 84k employees worldwide.

A marketing graduate with an IDM marketing diploma with Credit as well as a EMCC coaching post-grad diploma, Julie spent the first part of her career focused on excellence in customer experience in the Royal Mail Group of postal services businesses, across over 130k employees, in a series of marketing and business development roles spanning Royal Mail, the Post Office, Parcelforce and Royal Mail International before moving to L & D and HR business partnering.

Bringing together both customer and employee experience through marketing and human resources, Julie is commercially astute with high positive impact, her energy drives ambitious outcomes in hard to reach areas through people leadership.
